Brian Doyle

Brian has thirty years experience laboring for Christ throughout the New England Region.  He has served with The Navigators on campuses, military bases, and in the professional communities of five of the six New England states. In 1995, as part of a strategic alliance of Promise Keepers and The Navigators, Brian joined the staff of Promise Keepers as their New England Area Manager. He served in this capacity until 2000, when PK centralized all staff to Denver. Brian was then invited by Vision New England to initiate and direct their new Men’s Ministries focus. The goal of this ministry was to equip local churches to train men for spiritual leadership in their homes, churches and communities. In 2007 this ministry became IRON SHARPENS IRON. 

In 2001, Brian and Vision New England Men’s Ministries initiated the annual ‘Iron Sharpens Iron’ Northeast Men’s Conferences. These conferences are the most visible part of the regional men’s ministry and over 7,500 men attend these sold out conferences in the Northeast each year.  www.IronSharpensIron.net

In 2002, Brian became a Senior Associate for Great Dads and leads fathering seminars across the Northeast U.S. www.GreatDads.org Brian has trained over 2,000 men at 50 plus different fathering seminars. Over 5,000 children were represented at these seminars.

In 2003, Brian and David Beguerie launched a daily radio program for men, ‘Man2Man Express’,  that can be heard on over 500 stations in 49 of the 50 states. In 2004, Brian and Vision New England Men’s Ministries were honored with the “Ministry of the Year” award at the National Conference on Ministry to Men in Washington, D.C. sponsored by the National Coalition of Men’s Ministries. Brian has served on the Executive Leadership team of the National Coalition of Men’s Ministries where he networks and trains men’s ministry leaders across the nation. www.ncmm.org

In 2005, Brian and David Beguerie developed an audio classic CD titled, “The Father Factor”. This resource has now been expanded to three different editions and each feature conversations and message clips from national leaders on the subject of fathering. www.FatherFactor.org 

In 2006, Brian began working with Baseball Chapel as the Chapel Leader for the New Britain Rock Cats, the Double A affiliate for the Minnesota Twins. He continues in this role and has had the opportunity to impact several players now playing in the Major Leagues.   www.BaseballChapel.org

In 2007, Brian and team reproduced the local conference ministry by entrusting it into the care of seasoned ministry veterans across the nation. Together they developed a National IRON SHARPENS IRON Conference Network that hosted 24 conferences in cities nationwide. www.IronSharpensIron.net

In 2008, Brian and team continued to expand the National IRON SHARPENS IRON Conference Network to thirty-six cities nationwide. www.IronSharpensIron.net

In 2009, Brian and team continued to expand the National ISI Network and also added a regional IRON SHARPENS IRON Women's Conference to the resources that they offer New England churches. This sold out conference is scheduled to be held in Central New England every two years. www.IronSharpensIronWomen.org

Brian and his wife, Barbara, have been married for twenty-two years and have five children; Jessica, Michael, Matthew, Timothy and Susan. Brian and Barbara are members of Wintonbury Baptist Church where Brian serves on the elder board and as a men’s ministry leader. The Doyle Family resides in West Hartford, CT.

Brian Martin

Brian Martin graduated from Franklin Pierce University with a degree in Communications. Currently attending Liberty University Mdiv program, Brian has been serving Men through Iron Sharpens Iron as the Director of Ministry Advancement.  He speaks at various men's events throughout the northeast, encouraging men to sharpen each other as they honor God in the home, at work, and in the community. Since 2005, Brian has served as the men's ministry leader in his local church.

Brian now lives in Connecticut with his Wife of 13-years Christine and his 2 children. Nathaniel, age 7; and Kyler age 1


David Beguerie

Dave has been serving and working in Christian radio broadcasting for the last 20 years.

In 2002, Dave attended a Vision New England Men’s Conference directed by Brian Doyle. That day, Dave had a clear sense that a daily radio program geared for men could be used to encourage them to grow in Christ. Dave and Brian Doyle teamed up to co-host Man2Man Express. The program was launched the following year on September 1, 2003 on 22 stations. Today the 5 minute programs and the 2 minute programs are heard nationally on 530 stations. The 5 minute has been accessed in more than 50 nations online. Listen here or get the daily Podcasts here. The programs feature world class men’s leaders, authors and speakers who are a regular part of the Iron Sharpens Iron national men’s conference.

Dave has served internationally with Trans World Radio in Guam and spent 5 years as producer for Songtime USA. He is a graduate of Eastern Nazarene College with a Communications degree. He speaks to men through men’s events, fathering seminars, men’s retreats, and Iron Sharpens Iron ministries. He produces all daily programs and audio resources for Iron Sharpens Iron.

Dave has been married to Beth for 14 years. He is blessed with his 2 children Amanda and Aaron. Part of his story has been walking his wife through a long battle of Leukemia and her bone marrow transplant since 2005, Beth is in remission. They are also raising their son Aaron who has special needs. He is active in leadership in his local church on Cape Cod. He is committed to living a life of encouragement as commanded in Hebrews 3:12 -13.

 


Larry D'Apice

Larry has been serving in men’s ministry in some capacity at his local church since the early 1990’s. He served as President of what was then called The Men’s Club and was a charter member of the first men’s small group at his church. After his first Promise Keeper’s Conference in 1996, Larry began Key Man training and later Ambassador Training with Brian Doyle. Larry co-labored with Brian and the Hartford Task Force to bring Promise Keepers to Hartford CT in 1999. In 2000 Larry’s wife Valerie became Brian’s Administrative Assistant and Larry has continued to co-labor along side Brian as Conference Coordinator, seeing to the details and logistics of the conferences in the Northeast. Larry is an NCMM Certified Men’s Ministry Coach. He and his wife have two daughters, Allison and Julie and they reside in Meriden, CT.
